Magnolia & Rye started as a Saturday farmers market table with one sourdough recipe and a folding scale. Seven years later, the ovens run at 4 a.m. out of a storefront on Main Street, and the sourdough recipe hasn't changed. It just makes more loaves now.
Everything in the case is baked that morning in small batches. When we sell out, we sell out. We'd rather turn people away than hold pastry over for a second day.
